If you own a towel, you own a piece of gym equipment, said Miss Hawaii 2012 Skyler Kamaka. Bench presses with towel resistance is one of her favorite exercises to stimulate upper body muscles. The beauty of this routine is that the level of difficulty is up to you. The tension of the towel stretched between the arms creates resistance.
Other variations are towel row downs, designed to work the upper back and lateral muscles. Kamaka is a recent graduate of Concordia University with a degree in exercise and sports science.
